Mike Gibson: Certified Safety Professional and President of Safe Teach-Global.

I have been a key influencing factor for top safety performers nationally, as well as internationally; and have been recognized and benchmarked as an expert in implementing safety processes for some of the world’s largest companies.

Over the course of my career I have directed Electrical and Construction training; representing some of the world’s largest companies. As a result of my influence, EON (the world’s largest energy provider) developed a “World Class” “Nationally Certified Electrical Training” program and won countless national and global awards.

Providing an aggressive and energetic approach to safety, combined with the implementation of behavior-based techniques, is the key to the successful impact I have had on employees and business. My expertise has resulted in appointments to the “NIOSH Injury Prevention Council” and the “OSHA Electrical Federal Best Practice Team”.

In 2007 I graduated from Webster University with an M.B.A., after having completed a Bachelor of Science Degree (with distinction) in Occupational Safety Management from Indiana University in 2002.  I hold technical certifications in the electrical safety and have completed numerous hours of research and postgraduate work in the field of electrical, construction, human and industrial relations.

Dynamic speaking capabilities and interactivity with audiences have granted me national recognition. I am a sought after speaker in the areas of electrical, construction, organizational behavior and cultural changes in work force safety.

With fourteen plus years of hands-on electrical maintenance, switching and operational experience, I took the lead in building Louisville Gas and Electric’s first formal “Electrical Training” program.
